Tenkara Trout Trips

Tenkara Fly fishing Trout in the Adirondacks

Tenkara is the centuries –old, time-honored Japanese system of fly fishing . It is fly fishing at its basic best, using long rods, simple flies , and no reel. It can be learned very easily and is especially effective in pocket water, swift runs, and and smaller streams. It provides excellent line control, drag-free drifts and and long floats. Both on the surface and underneath, it can be very productive and is a fun way to fish!!

I will provide all the equipment and flies and you will be able to try and enjoy this refreshing method of catching a trout on a fly!! Tenkara is catching on like wildfire and endorsed by such notables as John Gierach. This is an opportunity to try it before you purchase your own equipment!! Tenkara trips are limited to one or two anglers.

Try this and I am sure you will be pleased!
